Peter Brennan

Consultant  

Peter Brennan has worked in the financial aid profession over 25 years at private colleges and universities offering two year, four year, and graduate/professional programs. He has held various positions, from financial aid counselor to director of financial aid and has experience with non-standard term programs as well as the CSS Profile. 

Peter has also worked in private industry, supporting financial aid administration. He worked closely with the U.S. Department of Education to develop training programs for financial aid administrators. He has served as product manager for a commercial financial aid management software product. 

He is experienced with Jenzebar CARS, Regent FAM, the U.S. Department of Education’s EDExpress and COD software programs. 

Peter has been actively involved in the New York State Financial Aid Administrators Association (NYSFAAA). He served on various committees and as regional chairperson for Financial Aid Awareness Month. Peter has also been a member of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA), the Eastern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (EASFAA), the Virginia Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (VASFAA), the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), and the Society for Technical Communication (STC). 

Peter received a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. John’s University.
