
Yvette McCoy
Project Coordinator
Yvette McCoy has worked in the financial aid profession for more than 10 years. She has held positions in private, nonprofit, and proprietary colleges and universities. Prior to joining FAS, she held positions as director of financial aid, associate director of financial services, scholarship specialist, loan processor, and financial aid counselor. As an FAS project coordinator, she manages a team of financial aid analysts and oversees the activities of financial aid processing for clients. Her responsibilities also include awarding, processing student loans, auditing files and calculating student financial aid budgets.
Yvette has experience working with numerous software systems, including Datatel Colleague, SunGard Banner, Campus Management CampusVue, College Board PowerFAIDS, ELM, OpenNet and the U.S. Department of Education’s NSLDS software.
Her professional affiliations include membership in the Georgia Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (GASFAA), the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA), and the Kansas Association of Financial Aid Administrators (KASFAA) where she served on the Training and Development Committee and was a statewide trainer for high school counselors.
Yvette received her Bachelors of Science from Emporia State University, and her Masters of Education/Counseling and Guidance from Wichita State University.
