Lynn Burris

Lynn Burris began her career in financial aid in 2003 at a Florida community college, and joined FAS as a consultant in 2009. Lynn will provide services in student counseling, customer service, and processing.

Lynn was the assistant director of financial aid while also the director of the RAVE Perkins Postsecondary Grant Program at Florida Keys Community College from September 2003 until February 2005. In February 2005 she was promoted to director of financial aid and held that position until 2008. She brings a wealth of experience to her FAS clients as a result of her hands-on, inclusive approach to managing the financial aid office and staff.

Lynn also worked closely with the college's foundation director to provide guidance on the written policies and procedures for the foundation's institutional scholarships and assisted with the implementation of all institutional and private scholarships. She also served on the scholarship recipient selection committee for all institutional scholarships.

She is experienced with SunGard Banner, U.S. Department of Education EdExpress, COD, EdConnect, and NSLDS software programs.

Lynn has been a member of the Florida Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators and the Southern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators.

Lynn received a Bachelor of Science from Northern Kentucky University.
