Audrey Byrd has more than 19 years of financial aid experience. She currently serves as project coordinator for a large, four-year, private university in the Southeast. The school is a long-standing FAS client.

Audrey oversees financial aid operations for the university’s graduate program, facilitating the loan process for more than 5,000 students per year. She resolves discrepancies, performs verifications, and certifies all loans in the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) and alternative loan programs.

Audrey also has experience counseling students and parents, resolving policy issues, and training financial aid staff. She is proficient in the use of many financial aid software packages, including SunGard Banner, College Board PowerFAIDS, Whizkid, and the U.S. Department of Education’s EDExpress and NSLDS.
