Pennie Hill has more than 25 years of experience in higher education administration. As a consultant with FAS, she has helped more than 15 colleges and universities improve their financial aid operations.

Pennie has trained college staff in the areas of customer service, federal regulations and financial aid office policies and procedures. In addition, she has utilized her management skills while serving as interim financial aid director for multiple FAS clients.

She helps institutions effectively utilize financial aid software such as Oracle PeopleSoft, College Board PowerFAIDS, SunGard Banner and Datatel Colleague.

Prior to joining FAS, she served as associate director of financial aid and senior financial aid counselor at the University of Southern Mississippi. While serving as associate director, Pennie was an active member of both the Mississippi and Southern Associations of Student Financial Aid Administrators. She held leadership positions and received professional recognition from both associations.

Pennie received her Bachelor of Science from Alcorn State University.
