John Olino has been employed in the financial aid profession for over 27 years. John brings a wealth of experience to his position as a consultant with FAS.
Working with FAS, John has served as interim director, assisted with the implementation of Oracle software, helped with file reviews and provided day-to-day student service.
Prior to joining FAS, John served as Director of Student Financial services at Columbia College Chicago where he integrated the functions of the financial aid and student account offices. John also was involved with the development and implementation of proprietary financial aid software at Triton Community College while serving as Director of Financial Aid and Scholarships.
John is experienced with SunGard Banner.
John has been active in many organizations and has served on several state, local and national committees. He served as an elected member of the executive committee of the Illinois Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (ILASFAA) and as a member of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) Journal editorial board. He also served as a member of the Sallie Mae National Financial Aid Advisory Board. John has also testified before the Congressional Subcommittee for Postsecondary Education concerning the long-term effects of student borrowing.
John received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Educational Administration from Loyola University of Chicago.
