Linda Casey

Linda Casey has worked in the financial aid industry for the past seven years and in the business field for 18 years. As an FAS consultant, she helps institutions maximize the effectiveness of their financial aid operations.

Prior to joining FAS, Linda served as director of financial aid at Bainbridge College. She ensured regulatory compliance, improved student and parent satisfaction, increased office efficiency, and utilized technology to provide detailed reporting to the college president and his cabinet.

Linda also worked for Nelnet, where she marketed products and services to help colleges and universities increase efficiency, streamline processes, and improve service to students.

She has experience with multiple financial aid software packages including SunGard Banner, GSFC Surfer, and the U.S. Department of Education’s Edconnect and NSLDS.

During her financial aid career, Linda has been active in several regional and national associations. She has been a member of the Southern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (SASFAA) and the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA). She also served as membership chair and co-chair of the program committee for the Alabama Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (AASFAA) and co-chair of professional development for the Georgia Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (GASFAA).

Linda received the Meritorious Staff Award for Outstanding Staff from Bainbridge College and the Georgia Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators’ Outstanding New Professional Award.

She earned a Bachelor of Science from Troy University.
