Randy Baker has worked in higher education for more than 11 years, holding positions in both the private, non-profit and proprietary sectors. Before joining FAS in 2006, Randy held positions at Spelman College, American InterContinental University, Georgia Medical Institute and Decker College, where he developed his knowledge of budget maintenance and fund reconciliation.

His present consulting role with FAS has focused on verification and customer service. Randy has helped colleges better utilize educational software packages such as SunGard Banner, Oracle PeopleSoft, Datatel Colleague, College Board PowerFAIDS, Campus Management CampusVue, and the U.S. Department of Education’s EDExpress, COD System and NSLDS.

His professional affiliations include memberships in the Georgia Association of Student Financial Aid Administrations (GASFAA), Southern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (SASFAA), and National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA).

Randy received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland.
