
FAS Project Coordinator Job Description
Financial Aid Services Inc. (FAS) is seeking to hire Project Coordinators for several financial aid processing projects. The positions are permanent, full-time and located in our Atlanta office.
The successful candidates will be responsible for managing up to 8 other staff members. The coordinators will be responsible for overseeing the activities of one large or two smaller financial aid processing projects. Coordinators will serve as the primary contacts with the clients and will provide both verbal and written progress reports on a regular basis.
The preferred candidates will be experienced financial aid administrators who have bachelors’ degrees and at least 4 years of financial aid office experience. These positions require excellent communication skills both oral and written, a comprehensive knowledge of Title IV programs, the ability to develop effective policies and efficient procedures, a high degree of proficiency with automated financial aid systems, the ability to work with diverse and complex campus environments, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work either independently or as member of team. Comprehensive experience with SunGard Banner, PeopleSoft or Datatel Colleague is required. Knowledge of non-term and non-standard term programs is a plus.
Salary is commensurate with experience. No travel required.
