FAS CELEBRATES 20th ANNIVERSARY

ATLANTA (January 10, 2011) - Financial Aid Services (FAS), an Atlanta-based interim staffing and consulting firm that helps colleges and universities optimize their financial aid operations, today marks its 20th year of service to higher education. The company attributes its success to its long-term commitment to providing professional quality service with the highest level of integrity.

FAS offers customized services, including remote processing, interim staffing and consulting, to college financial aid offices. During the past two decades, the company has managed more than 850 engagements and processed more than a million student files.

"We are honored to celebrate this occasion of our 20th anniversary," said President David Gray, who founded the company January 10, 1991, in Atlanta. "Our team of knowledgeable consultants - with an average of 26 years of financial aid experience - has always been dedicated to satisfying our clients for the long term. We will continue to help our clients enhance student service, increase operational efficiency, improve accuracy, and ensure regulatory compliance."

FAS was the first company to provide interim staffing and remote processing services to traditional colleges and universities. In its earliest days, FAS provided service to Emory University, Georgia Institute of Technology, and Mercer University. To date, the company has served more than 400 colleges and universities in 45 states. FAS is a frequent presenter at national meetings, such as the U.S. White House Initiative for Historically Black Colleges and Universities and the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA).

To accommodate its continuing growth, FAS recently expanded its office space at 180 Interstate North Parkway in Atlanta, Ga. It employs a total of 55 professionals.
