FINANCIAL AID SERVICES ANNOUNCES

NICOLE VERRETT JOINS CLIENT RELATIONS TEAM

Atlanta, January 27, 2010 – Financial Aid Services, Inc. (FAS) is pleased to announce Nicole Verrett has joined our client relations team as assistant director of client relations. 

“Nicole has been a valuable member of the FAS Remote Processing team and I know she will be as valuable in client relations. She has a wonderful blend of hands-on financial aid knowledge and marketing experience”, said Nancy Barnett, former director of client relations.

She will be taking the helm as editor of our e-newsletter, “The FAS Compass”, all e-alerts, the FAS website, and represent FAS at conferences and meetings across the country.

Ms. Verrett has over 16 years experience in student financial aid and worked with Bank of America student loans most recently. She also served as assistant director of financial aid at Clark Atlanta University and as a financial aid counselor at Dillard University.

Ms. Verrett said, “I am so pleased to have the opportunity to work with the staff of Financial Aid Services. They have a national reputation for quality work and exceptional professionalism.”

Her professional affiliations include or have included the Georgia Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (GASFAA), where she served on the Diversity and Professional Development committees; the Southern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (SASFAA); Louisiana Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (LASFAA); and Southwest Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (SWASFAA).

Ms. Verrett received her Bachelor of Science degree from Dillard University and Master of Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.
