
FORMER NASFAA CHAIR, DAVID MYETTE, JOINS FAS
ATLANTA (May 02, 2011) – Financial Aid Services (FAS), an Atlanta-based management consulting firm that helps colleges and universities optimize their financial aid operations, has named David Myette a Financial Aid Consultant. He will provide on-site consulting in college financial aid offices across the country and serve in interim positions where needed.
Myette has more than 30 years of student financial aid experience at both undergraduate and graduate institutions. Prior to joining FAS, David was Director of Financial Aid at Vermont Law School. His previous experience includes 28 years at Champlain College.
Myette served as the National Chair of National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators from 2003-2004, and has been active on many of the association’s committees. He was President and Treasurer of both the Eastern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (EASFAA) and the Vermont Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (VASFAA). Myette was awarded NASFAA’s Distinguished Service Award in 2004.
He holds a bachelor of science degree from Plymouth State University and a master’s degree from St. Michael’s College.
