FINANCIAL AID SERVICES ANNOUNCES

WANDA CARMICAL JOINS OPERATIONS TEAM

Atlanta, April 13, 2010 – Financial Aid Services, Inc. (FAS) is pleased to announce Wanda Carmical has joined our remote processing support team as assistant director of operations.

“Wanda will be a valuable member of the FAS Remote Processing team. Wanda has extensive financial aid experience and possesses a wealth of knowledge. I am very pleased that she is here”, said Linda McAnnally, director of operations.
As the assistant director of operations at FAS, Ms. Carmical will be managing a team of project coordinators and will be working with the director to oversee the activities of the remote processing operations department.

Ms. Carmical has over 28 years experience in the financial aid profession, working most recently at Clark Atlanta University as assistant director of financial aid. She also served as a Banner financial aid functional consultant at SunGard Higher Education and has served two-year and four-year public and private institutions over the span of her professional career.

Ms. Carmical said, “I am pleased and honored to have the opportunity to work with the staff of Financial Aid Services. They assisted me at Clark Atlanta University for over a year and did so with exceptional professionalism and dedication.”

Her professional affiliations include or have included the Georgia Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (GASFAA); the Southern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (SASFAA); the Florida Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (FASFAA); and the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA).

Ms. Carmical received her Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia State University.
