Jody Walker

Jody Walker is an independent financial aid consultant with 19 years of experience in financial aid compliance, operational leadership, and enrollment management across a range of higher education institutions.
She has served in senior leadership roles including Director of Enrollment & Financial Aid at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, Director of Financial Aid at Bethel College and Florida SouthWestern State College, and Chief Student Financial Services Officer at Southeastern University. Across these roles, she led comprehensive financial aid and student financial services operations while supporting institutional enrollment and student success goals.
Her expertise includes Return to Title IV (R2T4), packaging, Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), and federal and state compliance and reporting, including FISAP and eApps. She has overseen financial aid operations across multiple institutional models and regulatory environments.
Jody brings strong systems experience, with proficiency in Banner, PowerFAIDS, and Jenzabar, and is known for her collaborative leadership style. She has partnered extensively with Admissions, Registrar, Advancement, Advising, Business Office, Study Abroad, Retention, and Student Success teams to align compliance, enrollment strategy, and student support services.
She holds an Associate of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in General Studies from Indiana Wesleyan University, as well as a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Regent University.
Jody is an active leader in the profession, serving as a member of the FASFAA Executive Board, where she has also held roles as Volunteer/Membership Coordinator and LEAP Program Chair. She brings a mission-driven, leadership-focused approach to her consulting work.
