Marie Thomas is a financial aid professional of over 23 years.  Her tenure includes working at a two-year community college as well as a four-year private university.

Marie began her career at Camden County College. Over the years, she ascended the ranks, moving from a secretary to management and leadership positions at Camden County College as well as the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.

Marie is proficient in performing verification, monitoring, and calculating Return of Title IV Funds (R2T4) and Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), processing loans, packaging federal, state, and institutional awards and Federal Pell Grant and Direct Loan Reconciliation. Marie has a vast knowledge of using Entrensik Informer for report writing.  Marie understands the complexities of institutional, program, and student eligibility.

Marie has experience with several student information and financial aid systems, including Ellucian Colleague, Ellucian Banner, and Entrensik Informer. She is also adept in using the U.S. Department of Education’s suites of platforms and websites, such as the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) system, Direct Loan (DL) Tools, EDExpress, and EdConnect.

Marie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Thomas Edison State College in New Jersey and a Master of Business Administration from Strayer University.
