Wayne Bodiford has over 35 years of student financial aid experience from both two-year public and four-year private institutions. He served as a director of financial aid and veterans’ affairs for a total of 28 years. He came to Financial Aid Services (FAS) in 2017. As a consultant, he supports financial aid offices across the country. He provides Interim Staffing, Consulting and Assessment services to improve business processes, strengthen compliance efforts and enhance student satisfaction.
In addition, his previous experience includes financial aid leadership positions at Pasco-Hernando State College, University of South Florida and Florida Southern College. Prior to joining FAS, Wayne retired as director of financial aid and veterans’ administration (VA) at St. Johns River State College. He was instrumental in the implementation and deployment of Ellucian’s Banner system for a consortium of six institutions in the State College System of Florida.
He held leadership roles in the Florida Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (FASFAA), serving in a variety of executive board positions, including two separate terms as FASFAA president. In honor of his contribution, the association bestowed Wayne with lifetime membership in FASFAA. Wayne served as an instructor and trainer for the Southern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (SASFAA) New Aid Officer Training.
Wayne received his Bachelor of Science and Business Administration Management from Webber International University in Florida. He is also a veteran of the United States Air Force.
