Eric B. King

Mr. Eric King is a financial aid professional with over 20 years of experience. Eric began his career as an Associate Director of Financial Aid at Jarvis Christian University in 1995. Over the years, he advanced to the position of Director of Financial Aid and has served in that role at Jarvis Christian University, Wiley College, and Southwestern Christian College. Eric has also worked as an independent contractor consultant.

Mr. King is highly proficient in performing verification, monitoring Return of Title IV Funds (R2T4) and Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), processing loans, and packaging federal, state, and institutional awards. Eric understands the complexities of institutional, program, and student eligibility. He has deep insights on need analysis in both federal and institutional methodologies (FM and IM). Eric is known for his expertise in helping families better understand the FAFSA and CSS Profile applications and completing them accurately. Eric has experience with PowerFAIDS, Jenzabar and POPULI student financial aid systems. He has years of experience preparing the FISAP, IPEDS, FADB (Texas), and several other required reports as well as budgets.

Eric has hands on experience with Heightened Cash Monitoring 2 (HCM2). He has also served on the SACS Reaccreditation Committee at 3 different colleges. Mr. King has also led the A133 Audit team at each institution for which he has worked, served as Team Lead for Program Review responses, and has successfully accomplished Title IV Recertification on multiple occasions. Eric has two decades of experience in creating and updating policies and procedures and is proficient in collaborating with all departments at the institution. He is also known for the excellent relationships that he builds with the student body.

Mr. King holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from Texas A&M University.
