Justin Welliver is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in financial aid administration, business process analysis, and leadership within higher education institutions. Currently serving as the Senior Business Process Analyst at the State University of New York at Geneseo, Justin collaborates closely with peers and leaders to develop innovative solutions aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness and achieving strategic objectives. In this role, he is instrumental in identifying business needs, driving process improvements, and leveraging technology to streamline operations.

Justin’s expertise extends to financial aid management, where he has held key leadership positions such as Director of Financial Aid and Student Employment at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) for two years, and Assistant Director at Rochester Institute of Technology for four years. In these roles, he demonstrated a strong commitment to compliance, efficiency, and student success by overseeing the distribution of millions of dollars in financial assistance, implementing awarding strategies to maximize revenue, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

With a comprehensive understanding of financial aid policies and procedures, Justin has effectively managed complex tasks including Satisfactory Academic Progress assessments, Return of Title IV Funds processes, and veteran educational benefits administration. Beyond his financial aid expertise, Justin brings a robust systems and programming background to his roles, with proficiency in tools such as PowerFaids and extensive programming experience stemming from his associates degree in website design. With over three years of experience in PowerFaids and a solid foundation in programming acquired through his educational background, Justin leverages technology to develop efficient workflows, create data-driven dashboards using Power BI, and automate processes to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
